Refined setting for The Scent — Perfumer Mentor Edeline Laurent

Edeline is Céline’s mentor, a mysterious researcher of olfaction.
She plays a dual role: on one hand, a teacher and therapeutic observer; on the other, a scientist who treats Céline as an experimental subject.

Over time, she begins to develop feelings for her subject, caught in a painful struggle between science and emotion. Ultimately, she chooses self-exile to the Arctic, where she vanishes in pursuit of a legendary spice that appears only under the aurora’s brightest glow.

She becomes the most extraordinary Echo within Céline’s inner world.
Her story embodies the themes of love and guilt, responsibility and escape.
